An ongoing project continuing the historical traditions of the still life and earth art, these snapshots* capture a specific moment in decaying time as discarded peels slowly decompose and return to the land named after them. The haphazard disposing of such remnants sometimes reveals the various distant production origins of these citrus fruits.
*NOTE: All photos were unstaged and taken by the artist while traversing parts of Orange County on foot, a commendable feat in itself given its suburbanized layout and overt reliance on the individual automobile for transportation.
